The Braava jet 240 uses iAdapt 2.0 navigation, while the m6 uses iAdapt 3.0.
The earlier iAdapt technology uses sensors and an onboard camera to create maps of your floors. This map will allow the jet 240 to know where it is in the room while knowing where it has already cleaned and where it needs to go next. It will delete these maps after every cleaning session.
The iAdapt 3.0 technology, on the other hand, allows the robot to scan your floors, store these maps, and identify the rooms it has on memory.
